Why it works
Cinnamon extract inhibits the action of 5 alpha reductase, including its acne promoting actions in the sebaceous glands, as well as cyclooxygenase-2 (cox-2), a pro-inflammatory enzyme.
Thyme extract has anti-bacterial and healing skin benefits. Thyme extract improves blood flow to heal acne lesions while increasing oxygenation to the skin and destroying acne bacteria.
Anti-bacterial Salicylic Acid
At 0.5%, salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid derived from tree bark that penetrates the follicles to destroy propioni acne bacteria and effectively control acne.
• Reduces sebum production and acne breakouts
• Deeply cleanses without stripping oily skin
• Effectively controls acne bacteria
